1. What is eDivvy.com?
   eDivvy is the perfect way for families, friends, and organizations to come together and collect funds for an extraordinary gift for a particular occasion (birthdays, graduations, weddings, etc) or fundraising event (charities, schools, etc). But the best way to learn about eDivvy is to Create an Event. It’s free and easy, and you don’t even have to register until you’re ready to invite your friends to participate.
   
   Our goal is to make gift giving more exciting and efficient than ever. The excitement comes when someone you care about gets a fantastic gift - something better than they ever expected - from a whole group of friends or family. We want Joe to feel weak-kneed every time he sees his 52" plasma TV, and Julie to beam with pride when she wheels Junior around in a Bugaboo stroller. We want your gift to be greeted with tears of joy and huge bear hugs. And the efficient part? That comes from the eDivvy system, which makes organizing and managing the entire group event easy and fun.
   
   The eDivvy automation robots take care of the traditionally awkward and messy parts of group events, like asking for money, sending reminders, and making sure the correct gifts are purchased and delivered on time. The organizer can select the perfect gift, invite people to contribute, and keep track of the entire process. Contributors can see what’s being given, make their contribution and trust that the organizer isn’t pocketing anything extra. In the end, the gift is sent directly from the merchant to the destination chosen by the organizer. If the necessary funds aren’t achieved, or if too much funds are collected, we send an eDivvy check instead.

2. What is group gifting?
   Group gifting is what happens when a group of family or friends share the cost of gifts for an individual or organization.
   
   Group gifting is the easiest and most affordable way to spoil someone with an unbelievable gift. A DVD is nice, but a plasma TV is awesome. A baby blanket is sweet, but a top of the line stroller is amazing. With a group gift, you can afford to rock their world.
3. Why should I give as a group? What are the benefits of being a part of a group event?
   First of all, giving as a group makes sure that the lucky recipients are getting what they really want - something they will remember and appreciate. The more people who pitch in, the bigger and better the gift can be. Think about it: if eight friends get together for a birthday and each bring a $50 gift, the birthday boy will get a few books, DVDs or t-shirts. Ho-hum. But if the gang organizes a group gift event, they can afford something that costs $400 - like a new iPod or a high end DVD player. Which do you think the birthday boy prefer? Yeah, we think so too.
   
   Secondly, being a part of a group event takes the hassle out of buying gifts. No more scrambling at the last minute, wandering around a store, or speculating on what in the world to buy! eDivvy makes group events super easy by putting one person in charge of selecting the gift(s) and inviting others to contribute. 4. Why do I need to register?
   While you can create an event without registering, the only way to save, send, organize, contribute, or participate in events is to register with eDivvy. Register Now to Start Giving Great Gifts!
5. What is the eDivvy By Number?
   The eDivvy By Number represents the estimated number of participants you expect to share in the cost of the group event gift. This number is then used to estimate the minimum amount each participant needs to contribute. Select as many gifts as you desire, and then play with the widget on our homepage to see how inexpensive it can be to give as a group!
6. What is a Gift Basket?
   The eDivvy Gift Basket is similar to an online shopping cart. The organizer of an event browses gifts from various merchants on the eDivvy site and adds them to the Gift Basket. These are the items that the event recipient will receive if enough money is contributed.
7. How do I get started?
   It couldn't be easier. Jump right in and Create an Event for any gift giving opportunity you can think of.
8. How do I keep track of each event?
   You can track the details of each event by signing in to My Event. This page lets you track and modify events you are organizing, update your account information, and view any events you are currently participating in.
9. How do I list my products for sale on eDivvy?
   If you are a merchant interested in partnering with eDivvy, please Contact Us.
10. I forgot my password. Help!
    Don’t sweat. Just click this link to retrieve your password. You can also reset your password by going to the Sign In page and clicking on the "Forgot your password?" link.
11. How do I edit my event(s)?
    Only the organizer of an event can edit that event’s information. To change any event information (contribution end date, invite/remove participants, gift basket, etc), simply log into your eDivvy.com account. Locate the event by clicking on the ’My Event’ tab. Once you are in the event’s page, click on ’Edit my event’.
12. How can I use eDivvy for fundraising?
    eDivvy’s website is also designed to easily give gifts or monetary donations directly to schools, charities, or other organizations. By encouraging donors to participate in charitable group events, organizations can get exactly what they need.
