Micralite Strollers made a huge impression with the release of the ultralight
and agile Fastfold Newborn System, and followed up even stronger with the new
Micralite TORO Newborn System - a beautifully designed and
extremely convenient stroller package that includes a pram for infants and
reclining, padded seat for toddlers.
Parents in search of a light, maneuverable, and fashion forward urban
stroller that will carry a baby comfortably from infancy to 40 lbs. will
definitely enjoy the versatile Micralite TORO Newborn System.

Awards
BENEFITS FOR MOM & DAD
Like its predecessor the Micralite Fastfold Newborn System, the new TORO
Newborn System’s pram and seat ride are available in an array of vibrant colors
and ride on a light aluminum frame with 12" air filled wheels in the rear and
wide set swivel wheels up front. This unique wheel configuration makes the TORO
extremely easy to maneuver, and allows it to fold up into a package tight enough
to rival some umbrella strollers. It even stand on its own once folded.
The Micralite TORO Newborn system is the epitome of contemporary stroller
style. Mix and match TORO Seat Liners are available to customize the look and
feel of the TORO seat.
Convenience
The TORO Newborn System from Micralite has a range of features that any
on-the-go parent can appreciate, from the simple one-handed folding mechanism to
the unique sliding recline for the seat. The patented Fastfold action brings the
front wheels in tight to the frame for one of the tightest folds in its class.
You’ll only need one hand to fold the stroller, and it locks when folded and
stands on its own for easy storage in a corner or closet.
The TORO Newborn System is lightweight and offers a relatively high weight
capacity of 40 lbs., allowing you to transport a child in from infancy in the
pram or with the car seat adapter, up until he or she is 3-4 years old. No
matter what your baby’s age, the multiple recline positions offered by the
TORO’s uniquely balanced sliding seat system are the key to keeping your kid
comfortable. In addition, the TORO stroller’s easy maneuverability and
extra-tight turning radius make the TORO a must for city streets or the cramped
aisles of your local shopping center.
Included Accessories with the Micralite TORO Newborn System:
- Secure, padded pram for infants
- All-weather hood with zip on rain cover
- All-weather insulated boot

Pushability
The wheel configuration of Micralite strollers is truly distinct, offering
excellent stability and a tight turning radius without sacrificing size or
weight like a larger swivel wheel stroller. Though not equipped with shocks or
an adjustable handlebar (the handle is set at 38") the air filled wheels and
padded handle grips ensure a smooth, comfortable stroller experience for both
you and your baby.
Compatibility
The included pram accessory accepts a single Maxi Cosi Mico Infant Car Seat.
Do you own a Graco infant car seat? Get the Micralite TORO Graco Car Seat
Adapter, which accepts either a Graco SnugRide or Graco Safe Seat (Step 1)
infant car seat.
Comfort
The Micralite TORO stroller has the same basic frame design as the Fastfold
FTS but with one modification: while the Fastfold seat had a limited seat
recline (just 140-degrees). The toddler seat of the TORO Newborn System offers
a suspended seat with a unique sliding function that allows for multiple recline
options and, best yet, a full recline for maximum relaxation. In addition, the
entire seat and pram are well shaded by the large sun canopy.
Safety
- ASTM safety certified
- 5-point safety harness
- Parking brake
- Bumper bar
COMPARISON
The natural comparison to the Micralite TORO would be the Bugaboo Cameleon or
the high tech STOKKE XPLORY, two very unique (and expensive) strollers with both
a bassinet and toddler seat.
The Cameleon is heavier than the TORO, has an equivalent weight capacity, but
can be a pain to store because it takes several steps to fold and breaks down
into two pieces. The XPLORY is truly one of a kind, but somewhat cumbersome
relative to the light and agile Micralite TORO.
