Enjoy a history and gastronomy lesson in this varied, international culinary tour of Brooklyn. Take a trip back in time and around the world and see a part of New York City that many don’t even know exist!
Your guide, an experienced and knowledgeable native New Yorker, will lead you through Brooklyn’s most dynamic areas where you will get to sample some of the incredible local cuisines that makes New York so unique.
Begin in the historic West Village, the past and present home to some of the City’s most influential residents, and then venture across the Williamsburg Bridge to Brooklyn, where the main portion of your tour will take place.
Though you will drive from one neighborhood to the next, don’t worry, you will have plenty of time to walk around and take pictures in each area where you stop.
In this 3.5 hour driving and walking tour of Brooklyn, some of the neighborhoods you’ll visit include:
- Williamsburgh
Home to many ethnic groups and a thriving art community where you’ll be sampling delectable foods from an authentic 1960s era kosher Hasidic deli. - DUMBO
Where we’ll stop at the Jacques Torres chocolate factory, and visit Brooklyn Bridge Park for an excellent view of Manhattan’s famous skyline. - Sunset Park
Featuring a plethora of Latin American food establishments for a picnic style lunch in the park featuring the "Cuban" sandwich.
Tour begins in Greenwich Village. Gratuities for your tour guide, although not required, are always appreciated.
