Nice product
By Tara A Greenawald on 8/2/2010This is a great toy for all ages. Does come with a soft inflatable basketball. Just minor compliants. I took special care to apply the sticker on the backboard - but is already wrinkling afer a month of use. Plugs to the side walls do not stay in but this does not effect the use of the toy. A little weary about the strength of the plastic where the net attaches, already a bit loose. -
Very Cool
By Richard Fisher on 7/28/2010The Super -Wide 44" Jam Pro Poolside Basketball. I purchased this to replace a Lifetime one that rusted out in three years. Its made of the same material that a "tiny tike's" one I had for 15 plus years was made out of. Still in service at my old house. I took no chances on the only metal pieces(the hoop and bracket)-I put 4 coats of rustoleum on them right out of the box -just as a precaution. I discarded the decal-without it it looks like the $600. one. Can't go wrong -great buy!! -
Nice Quality
By Joyce Hamill on 7/25/2010Was pretty simple to assemble. We decided not to put the sticker on since we knew it would just fade in the sun. The orange color paint on net rim is already faded after just a few weeks out in the sun. Product seems sturdy overall and well priced (from Brookstone). It is prety large and takes up a fair amount of space though - and is not easily moved once positioned. The kids are enjoying playing with it and it is holding up well so far. We plan to take it indoors for the winter. Our dog punctured the basketball that came with the net on the first day so we purchased several larger size pool basketballs at our local pool store that work well. -
Best pool money ever spent
By Mary Mcmillan on 6/28/2010My son has never been one that loves to swim in our pool, but since I bought this basketball goal, he loves it. The rest of the family has enjoyed it as well. We play all kinds of different games on it. It went together in five minutes and hasn't given us any problems. We don't allow the kids to dunk it too hard because we're afraid they would hurt themselves on our pool deck, so I can't vouch for durability on dunking. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and I will purchase it again if mine ever breaks.
