This camera is great for it's price!

    By ashbash on 7/15/2010
I did not buy this camera from Amazon. I bought it through Walmart in August 2008. The only down fall is trying to use the lens for a macro lens. And night pictures.

I paid $200.00 for mine plus the 2 year extended warranty for just in case. At first I started having the problem of it eating my batteries and learned that rechargeable batteries were the key. And also at times it has a long processing time in between pictures, and even more when switching from pictures to videos.

If you want a perfect camera go for the $700.00 Canon Rebel ( A real camera) Or if you want something, easy and useful then get this one. I am actually passing mine down to my parents soon.

I would absolutely buy this camera again...

This camera take terrible low-light pictures, terrible macro-pictures, terrible back-lit pictures. A terrible camera -- period. Avoid.

    Expected more

    By S. Watson on 4/13/2010
I bought this camera to replace my bulkier Zsomethin Kodak Easyshare. It was $170 when I bought it. I will be short with this review. The camera feels cheap, which doesnt really matter to me, but when my friends use it they comment on it. I hyped this camera up so much before I bought and now I feel like a fool. I took it with me out on a trip up north at the end of summer. It takes really bad low light photos like moon shots, bonfires, even on the proper settings. I feel like my close ups dont come out unless I use flash and then it is too bright. Some days the pictures are good, the next day I am swearin at the cam. I tried to return it to Walmart, where I bought it and they wouldn't take it back because I didn't have the original, non rechargeable batteries. Who really keeps the original pair of dead batteries? I would have given it more stars because it is very compact and It fits nicely in my purse. It takes great day time photos and has captured some spectacular sunsets, but then again, so does every other compact camera...

Bought this for Grand Daughter for her birthday. It is an above average pocket camera. She loves it.

    Poor Customer Service

    By K. Robinson on 3/20/2010
If you do buy this camera, BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WITH IT! I dropped mine about 2.5 feet on carpet and the lens still got stuck! Kodak's customer service is HOPELESS. They think everything can be solved by just replacing the batteries, and the cost for repair might as well go towards a new camera. I would not recommend this camera because even though this camera is decent, there are much better ones out there.
