Works only with iTunes
By J. Schirris on 8/8/2010Just purchased an Apple iPod Shuffle, and find out that the only way to add music to this iPod is by using iTunes. When you turn on, you hear a voice saying "Use iTunes to add music to your iPod". That's a big dissapointment, as I bought this iPod as a gift for someone that's using Linux.
Be careful buying this iPod! Cause that means you have to stick to iTunes! -
don't order from this seller
By bberry1972 on 7/21/2010had a bad transaction. the seller sent earphones that would not let me control the volume or move to the next track. then he sent me some different headphones, but the left earphone was blown out. i ended up having to purchase an adaptor from the Apple Store to use my own earphones with the device -
Worst Apple Product Ever
By Thish on 7/16/2010This is the worst iPod I've ever seen. I'm surprised Apple hasn't called back this product. As an owner of 4 different iPod models, a MacBook and an iPad, I can say that this product doesn't comply with Apple usual quality and ease of use. The earphones started failing within a week of use and failed completely after less than two months. I continued using it with another pair of earphones (with no control over volume or songs) for about four months and now it runs for about 30 minutes and then it simple shuts down. I'm very disappointed with this product. -
