Group Gifting
The concept is simple. Pooling funds enables a larger gift (not a gift card) with less spent by each contributor. All it takes is an organizer (every family has one), who sets up the gift at www.edivvy.com and then asks family and friends to contribute via e-mail. Imagine not having to hound your cheap brother for money. Participating retailers include Apple Store, Macy’s and Toyota. You can even buy your fuel-conscious matriarch a Toyota Prius. Contributions are made through credit card, and once the gift is funded, it is shipped directly to Mom from the selected retailer. There’s even a virtual card to be virtually signed.
