I was listening to the radio and decided to switch to the Roger Hedgecock Show (a conservative talk show host). I never listen to this station. A woman (a nurse) whose relatives work at the orphanage in Haiti was on and told of the work of the good mission people helping the orphans. She gave this website and said they needed supplies desperately because of the devastation from the earthquake. I pulled up the website because I was touched by her account of the plight of the Haitians and how they needed help more than ever now. Well, I know the Dear Lord led me here and I believe He wants me to keep donating to this cause. Thank You Jesus for these wonderful, selfless people doing your work in poor countries.

After hearing of the devastation in Haiti I wanted to be able to contribute to the relief fund, but I also wanted it to be immediate and more so directly to the people. While reading some Facebook post an old high school friend posted a report from a member of this organization that he had worked with in the past. I knew right away the Lord had supplied me with an answer. I thought how quickly he responded to my request and then I thought about how quickly everyone is responding in so many different ways and then realized how our answered prayers will eclipse anything we do. Thank you Jesus

The students of El Montecito School (Pre-6th grade Christian School in Santa Barbara) raised money today to help provide for the orphans in Haiti. Jenny and Jeffry Bohlinger, adopted from a Haitian orphanage, are students at our school. May God be revealed through this time of devastation with His great grace and compassion.
